DAVIDE ZACCHERINI

Born in 1996, Davide Zaccherini completed his musical studies at the A. Boito Conservatory in Parma. In 2016, he made his debut at the Teatro Regio di Parma in Rossini‘s L’Occasione fa il ladro before joining the operetta company Corrado Abbati, where he distinguished himself as the lead in important productions such as The Merry Widow, Die Fledermaus, The White Horse Inn, Scugnizza, and Paese dei Campanelli in some of the most prestigious theaters in Italy. While also pursuing a career as a chorus artist, he won the Donizettian Workshop in 2023, which led to his debut at the Donizetti Festival in Il Diluvio Universale and Il piccolo compositore di musica, under the direction of Riccardo Frizza and Francesco Micheli, as well as in several recitals of Donizetti arias under the supervision of Maestro Giulio Zappa. In 2024, he joined the Rodolfo Celletti Academy in Martina Franca, thanks to which he made his debut at the Festival della Valle d’Itria in Aladdin and the Magic Lamp by Nino Rota and La Vestale by Gaspare Spontini. He is soon set to debut at the Wexford Opera Festival in the recently composed opera Lady Gregory in America by Alberto Caruso.
