CURRICULUM
Baritone, born in Mola di Bari in 1993, he began studying singing in 2017. He refined his skills at the Carlo Felice Theater Academy in Genoa under the artistic direction of Maestro Francesco Meli from 2022 to 2024, and at the Belcanto Academy “Rodolfo Celletti” in 2024.
He made his debut in 2019 in the role of Marco in Puccini‘s Gianni Schicchi conducted by Maestro Giovanni Pelliccia, and in the same year, as Shaunard in La Bohème by Puccini at the “F. Stabile” Theater in Potenza, conducted by Maestro Giovanni Pompeo with direction by Maestro Enzo Di Matteo. In September 2021, at the Maschio Angioino in Naples, he performed as a baritone soloist in Orff‘s Carmina Burana, conducted by Maestro A. Gargiulo. In June 2022, he debuted as Don Geronio in Rossini‘s Il Turco in Italia at the Carlo Felice Theater in Genoa, conducted by Maestro Sesto Quatrini and directed by Maestro Italo Nunziata. In October 2022, he debuted as Malatesta in Donizetti‘s Don Pasquale at the “R. Zandonai” Theater in Rovereto, under the direction of Maestro Roberto Gianola and directed by Maestro Salvatore Sito. In January 2023, he debuted as the Mayor in the modern opera Topo dopo topo, il pifferaio di Hamelin, composed by Maestro Salvatore Sica with a libretto by Bruno Tognolini, conducted by Maestro G. La Malfa. In February 2023, he debuted in Cimarosa‘s Il maestro di cappella, conducted by Maestro Eric Lederhandler. In May 2023, he debuted as Gasparo in Donizetti‘s La Rita at the “E. Montale” Auditorium of the Carlo Felice Theater in Genoa under the direction of Maestro Davide Cavalli, with direction by Elisabetta Courir and Guido De Monticelli. In October 2023, he debuted as Uberto in Pergolesi‘s La Serva padrona at the Radar Theater in Monopoli, a production that was revived in 2024 at the Teatro della Gioventù in Genoa under the direction of Marina Bianchi and at the Alba Music Festival. In June 2024, he debuted as Don Bartolo in Rossini‘s Il barbiere di Siviglia at the Carlo Felice Theater in Genoa, directed by Damiano Micheletto and revived by Andrea Bernard, with Maestro G. Andretta conducting. He also pursues a concert career.
He has received various awards and collaborations in concert seasons, participating in November 2022 in the First International Opera Singing Competition “Niccolò van Westerhout” chaired by Elizabeth Norberg-Schulz, and in December 2023 in the “XXVI Edition of the Valerio Gentile International Opera Singing Competition” chaired by Daniela Barcellona.
He has attended several Masterclasses in “interpretation and vocal repertoire” led by Maestros Leo Nucci, Daniela Barcellona, Francesco Meli, Roberto De Candia, Serena Gamberoni, Nicola Alaimo, Alessandro Vitiello, Francesca Sassu, Laura Cherici, and Eleonora Pacetti.
